Website design and development in Drupal 9

⁠⁠⁠The request seeks the design and build of a new, trauma-informed website to complement the National Memorial for Victims and Survivors of Institutional Child Sexual Abuse (National Memorial). The website’s purpose is to increase accessibility to the National Memorial, act as a gateway to existing information on historical and contemporary child sexual abuse issues and prevention measures, and provide links to appropriate resources.

Key deliverables:

• Undertake trauma-informed user research, including with people with lived experience of institutional child sexual abuse, to inform development of the website and content, to be validated through user testing.
• Develop a sitemap, information architecture and hi-fidelity wireframes based on user research and testing conducted by the seller.
• Design and build a new website in Drupal 9, including website branding and graphic design elements, developing landing page and link content summaries, full website accessibility review, search engine optimisation and user experience testing.
• Support the migration of the website onto the Australian Government host agency’s content management system, including technical updates to website coding as required for live publication by October 2022.
• Ensure compliance with the Australian Government’s Digital Service Standard, including passing all assessments, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
