Brisbane Move is seeking for EOI from suitably qualified companies for the performance of the tunnel surveying of the Brisbane Metro mined tunnel.
The purpose of the tunnel is to provide a dedicated bus route for the new Brisbane Metro Bus vehicles and relieve congestion on Adelaide Street above. The tunnel will be a 3 heading, staged excavation utilizing a saw-tooth approach with 16m long canopy tubes. The scope of works includes (but is not limited to):
Survey Control
o Confirm existing survey control at each end of the tunnel prior to construction
o Establish and maintain survey control as the 3 headings advance
Convergence Monitoring
o Convergence monitoring will be performed at a frequency specified by the relevant drawings / technical
notes
o Results to be uploaded to the Monitoring Information Management System
In-Tunnel Surveying
o Setout and as-constructed of the excavation / primary lining / final lining
o Canopy tube setout
o Shotcrete thickness checks
Office Calculations / QA / Reporting
o Checking all design information and modelling for the field surveyors
o QA Reporting and creation of an as-constructed model as per the relevant standards and specifications
o Provision for digital engineering and BIM requirements
