Large-scale mural for water tanks

⁠⁠⁠On behalf of the Shire of Ashburton, element is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced WA artists to deliver a large-scale mural for the Water Corp tanks at the intersection of Onslow and Macedon Road, Onslow. The commission, valued at $94,000 will involve designing a mural that reflects Onslow’s sense of place and the unique surrounding landscapes and community stories. Artists should provide the following information, submitted via email to artsandculture@elementwa.com.au, to be considered for this commission. The Shire of Ashburton’s Artwork Selection Working Group will be assessing submissions and providing a recommendation on behalf of the community as to the preferred artists for the commission.

EOI Submission Requirements
• Artist cover letter addressing the following: demonstrated experience, community engagement experience, written proposed approach to artwork, ability to paint and install the artwork in May 2022, and budget. (max 2 pages).
• Artist’s CV (max 2 pages) including biography.
• Project examples: maximum of 10 images of previous works including on each image the location, client, budget, and any other relevant information (max 10 pages).
