Food Organics Garden Organics Processing Services

⁠⁠⁠Hobart City Council is facilitating a collaborative procurement on behalf of itself and two other southern Tasmania councils. The procurement is for food organics and garden organics (FOGO) processing services, including the receipt and processing into compost of the food organic and garden organic material collected from residences in the Hobart, Glenorchy and Kingborough municipal areas in Tasmania. Currently, approximately 11,300 tonnes per annum of FOGO material is collected by the participating councils.
