⁠⁠⁠After the success and demand of its inaugural year, Liverpool’s much loved picnic style, outdoor cinema event is returning in 2022. Liverpool City Council’s popular Love Summer event is returning over three weekends in January & February 2022 at three locations.

Weekend 1:

Friday 14 January 2022 & Saturday 15 January 2022

Lakeside Park, Wattle Grove

Australia Day Weekend:

Wednesday 26 January 2022 to Thursday 27 January 2022

Bigge Park, Liverpool

Weekend 2:

Friday 11 February 2022 & Saturday 12 February 2022

Macleod Park, Prestons

Weekend 3:

Friday 25 February 2022 & Saturday 26 February 2022

Stante Reserve, Middleton Grange

Love Summer is a family friendly picnic-style dining event running on Friday and Saturday nights from late January to February 2022.

Over three weekends, attendees will be able to enjoy a bite to eat from local food trucks and a sunset drink from our beer garden while listening to live tunes by local performers.

Each night, our open-air cinema will feature a different family-friendly movie under the stars.

Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from Liverpool Local & South West emerging & established performers or entertainers who would like to showcase their talents in Liverpool during January & February 2021 on Friday & Saturday evenings.

Each performer will get to showcase their talent in three different locations in front of a small crowd of local Liverpool residents. We will be working and implementing COVID safe practices throughout these performances and giving the community a showcase of our local talent.

Please note that submission of an EOI is used as an expression of interest only and does not guarantee that your performance will be included in one of our events.

Not all applicants will be successful, however information will be added to the Liverpool City Council entertainment database for future consideration. Successful performers/entertainers will be contacted via phone or email to confirm their availability.
