Demolition and Salvage - Kempsey Calf Yards

⁠⁠⁠Kempsey Shire Council is seeking requests for quotation from appropriately qualified parties to demolish and salvage materials from the existing calf yards structure at Kempsey Regional Saleyards. Completion of this scope of work will support long term plans to rebuild this facility to a higher standard.

The bulk of material to be salvaged is hardwood timber comprising both the existing calf yards and the existing shed frame, as well as galvanised iron roof sheeting. All materials are to be removed down to ground level and includes the removal of the existing concrete slab. The bulk of the material to be removed is expected to be suitable for reuse and/or recycling. Any surplus demolition waste is required to be disposed of at a licensed landfill facility as part of the scope of work.

Quotations should be submitted in accordance with instructions included in the information documents and lodged in the electronic tender box on eProcure prior to the closing time and date. The onus rests on the tenderer to ensure that the tender is lodged in accordance with the above requirements.

The lowest, or any tender, will not necessarily be accepted.
