Puarenga Stream Pedestrian Bridges & Boardwalk Renewal

⁠⁠⁠The Contract Works are for the renewal of timber pedestrian bridges, boardwalks and 1300LM of Hoggin path at Puarenga Stream Reserve.
The works comprise of building a 2 timber pedestrian bridges & 3 boardwalks with retained ramps and topping up the existing path with Hoggin and fixing a few stormwater and level issues along this walkway.

The preference is for bridge and boardwalks to be constructed off site and hiabed into place minimising disruption to the shared path users, with the site being closed for a maximum allowance of 35 calendar days. Council must be notified 2 weeks prior to works commencing so the public can also be notified.

A mandatory site visit is a requirement of participation in this tender process. A site visit will be held on Monday 8th November at 10am on site - meet at Boardwalk 1, behind the old Carters building. The Contractor is responsible for all works detailed in the technical specification.
Tenderers are advised that the Principal reserves the right to vary the scale of the works to fit within the constraints of the available funding for this project.
