Provision of Immunisation Services for Alexandrina Council

⁠⁠⁠Alexandrina Council, 11 Cadell St, Goolwa, SA, 5214 (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of Immunisation Services for Alexandrina Council (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

Alexandrina Council’s Environmental Health division provides monthly community clinics based in Goolwa and Strathalbyn and school based immunisations at all high schools within the Council area.

The clinics encompass the following service elements provided in accordance with SA Health requirements;

1. be an SA Health approved provider.
2. maintained records in accordance with the General Disposal Schedule of State Records; and
3. quarterly report of all client/vaccine statistics;
4. the HPV register will be kept up to date in accordance with SA Health requirements
5. responsible for entering all immunisation details onto the Immunisation Records and Inventory System (IRIS) computer program;
6. all other consumables required to provide an immunisation clinic service;
7. administration staff sufficient to provide the service;
8. qualified registered nurses;
9. national Immunisation Programs;
10. transportation of vaccines to and from clinics;
11. vaccines and supplies;
12. order, receival and storage of vaccines;

It is the intention of Alexandrina Council to award an exclusive contract with a qualified service provider to undertake a full ‘end to end’ immunisation clinic service to the residents and schools of the Alexandrina Council area.

The term of the contract will be 3 years with two 1 year extension option/s available at the sole discretion of the Alexandrina Council
