This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
4 Regt, RAA is looking for a suitably qualified Business Manager to be the Unit Resource Manager. The person identified would be employed within the Regimental Operations Cell and would be responsible to ensure the effective forecasting, management and acquittal of unit resources is achieved.
This role will assist the Regimental Operations Officer in ensuring that all business functions are conducted in accordance with Defence Business Framework and the unit's Unit Operation Orders.
The Unit Resource Manager will have responsibility for ensuring effective forecasting, management and acquittal of unit resources is achieved through liaison with identified stakeholders within the Regt OPC
This person will be expected to utilise autonomy, initiative and judgement in the management of resources through the application of sound financial principles.
The successful candidate would have previous experience working in a finance role with an Army unit or Formation preferably within Brigade or higher. They would possess experience in budgeting, forecasting, cashflow forecasts, financial analysis, procurement and contracting, finance management and analysis.
The role will require the person to be customer focused with excellent communication skills and superior delegation abilities.
DUTIES
Management in conjunction with the Operations Officer of Unit resources.
Provide advice and data to the Operations Officer for the annual budget process
Assist in the preparation of bids on the Army Capability Management System (ACMS) and the communication of the Unit's resource plans to higher headquarters.
ACMS management
Card Management System (CMS) management
Assist with planning for courses
Assist in support of periodic supplementary bidding and cross-leveling of resources
Other resource tasks as directed
