Watermain Renewals: Tararu Road, Richmond Street Thames and Tiki Road Coromandel

⁠⁠⁠The Contract Works involves replacement of existing watermains on three roads within the Thames Coromandel District. A total of approximately 794m pipe renewals over the three roads as follows:

• Tararu Road, Thames: approximately 348m of DN 125 PE 100 PN 12.5
• Tararu Road, Thames: approximately 100m of DN 63 PE 100 PN 12.5
• Richmond Street, Thames: approximately 123m of DN 125 PE 100 PN 12.5
• Tiki Road, Coromandel: approximately 323m of DN 225 PE 100 PN 12.5

The works are to be carried out with minimum disruption to road users and access to private properties.
The Contractor can select the method of pipe installation, proposed, either by open cut trench or by thrusting / horizontal boring, or by a combination of these methods. The Contractor's tender submission must clearly state the method proposed.
