Water Infrastructure NSW has engaged 3Rivers (an unincorporated Joint Venture comprising Jacobs Group (Australia) Pty Ltd and GHD Pty Ltd) to deliver design and related services for the Sustainable Diversion Limit Adjustment Mechanism Acceleration program, which includes the Koondrook-Perricoota Flow Enabling Works Project. The Project would involve a series of works to be carried out on land surrounding the Koondrook-Perricoota Forest in southern NSW. The overarching aim of the Project is to allow environmental watering events to be carried out in the Koondrook-Perricoota Forest without causing unintended impacts on the surrounding private land. The proposed works would generally involve the replacement of existing flow-regulating structures and the construction of a levee.
Water Infrastructure NSW are committed to local collaboration and this extends to affording opportunities for local companies and organisations to provide services and support to projects. Water Infrastructure NSW have therefore instructed 3Rivers to seek expressions of interest for potential engagement of local engineering design consultancy services for the Project.
