Tender Description
The NXT Gen ARTS category supports structured career development for early career artists aged 18-25 years through a professional arts practice placement with an arts organisation, with the aim to increase employment pathways and opportunities for youth in the NT arts and culture sector.
Who Can Apply

Individuals
Individual applicants must be:
- an Australian citizen or have permanent residence status
- between 18 and 25 years of age at the time of application
- a current resident of the NT.
If you are an individual registered as a Sole Trader with an active ABN you should apply in GrantsNT as an Organisation.
Organisations
Host Organisations should not apply for this grant - the application is to be made by the artist or arts worker. Only an artist or arts worker registered as a Sole Trader with an active ABN should apply in GrantsNT as an Organisation.
Before you submit your application
- ensure you have no outstanding acquittals or reports with the NT Government
- read the Guidelines in full
- speak to an Arts Development Officer – check if you are eligible to apply, if the grant category is suitable and ask for advice
- ensure you collect all required support material beforehand. Refer to the following Support Material section of the Guidelines
