Auckland Council is seeking to appoint a supplier who will provide Aquatic and Leisure Demand Modelling. The purpose of this notice is to identify suppliers interested in participating in the Aquatic and Leisure Demand Modelling tender.
Auckland Council is conducting a review of its aquatic network to inform long-term planning and investment.
Auckland’s population is fast growing with increasingly diverse communities and needs. We want our investment decisions to reflect communities’ needs now and in the future. The council’s aquatic and leisure network must evolve over time to:
• Provide the appropriate services to meet growth.
• Serve our diverse communities, particularly those most in need.
• Deliver value for money for ratepayers.
A key question to answer in this review is: What aquatic and leisure services are required to meet Aucklanders’ needs over the next thirty years, and where are these services required?
This procurement seeks a demand model of aquatic and leisure services for Auckland.
The demand model forms a key part of the aquatic network review and will inform our understanding of the current and future needs of Auckland communities. The information will be used to help us plan our future network.
