Facilities Maintenance: Plumbing Services

ABOUT THE DIOCESE of Maitland Newcastle: The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle represents the Catholic Church in a region extending from Lake Macquarie to Taree and as far inland as Merriwa and Murrurundi. A Diocese is simply a community of Christ's faithful, it represents a portion of the people of God in a particular area, which is entrusted to a bishop.

ABOUT THE RFT
The Catholic Diocese of Maitland Newcastle (CDMN) invites Respondents to submit an Request for Tender (RFT) for facilities maintenance plumbing services on the terms and conditions set out in this RFT.

The project is for the delivery of Plumbing and related Services to the Catholic Diocese of Maitland Newcastle across all of its facilities incorporating Catholic Schools, Parishes, Early Education Centres, residential and commercial properties.
The plumbing services include both Planned and Unplanned services to meet the requirements of CDMN and is offered as a 3 year contract with the option of 2 x 1 year extensions at the Diocese discretion.

Within the provision of the Services, the Diocese is seeking to partner with a contractor that has the necessary skills, experience, safety, and quality management systems and processes to mature the Diocese in the delivery of Services and to best achieve a life cycle approach to the management of its assets. An important part of the Service delivery will be the identification, capture, and addition of assets and their required maintenance requirements into the Diocese MEX maintenance software system and the delivery of the required services to those assets.
In participating in the RFT process and in submitting an RFT, the Respondent agrees to be bound by this RFT.
