Tender Description

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new lift at Stafford State School, located at 314 Stafford Road, Stafford Qld 4064, as part of Ed4All program.

The new lift will allow students, staff and visitors access to the administration building including classrooms. The position of the building is at the front of the school with sufficent site access and working space. All works are to be completed by April 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M.

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
