Tender Description

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction for the refurbishment of Block B at Aviation State High School, located at 67 Widdop Street, Clayfield Qld 4011 as part of the Rectification and Reinstatement Program (RNR) program.

The scope of works includes structural works to the ground level, refurbishment of classrooms and the staff room. The position of the building is in the middle of the school. All works are to be completed by January 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1m.

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
