Tender Description
In order for Port Stephens Council (Council) to successfully complete its Capital Works and maintenance programs it requires contractor concrete construction services to supplement its own capabilities.
For the purposes of pricing, the concrete construction services that Port Stephens Council requires has been split into two categories;
- General Concreting – defined as all contractor concreting works except for those works relating to kerb and gutter. Contractors that do not specialise in concrete kerb and gutter works may wish to submit pricing for general concreting works only, including pricing of relevant scenarios only.
- Kerb and Gutter – defined as all works relating to kerb and gutter works, and excluding all other concreting works. Contractors that specialise in kerb and gutter works may wish to submit pricing for kerb and gutter works only, including pricing of relevant scenarios only.
Following the assessment of tender submissions, Council will form a panel of service providers who satisfy the requirements of this specification and the contract documents, and whom are offering to supply any of the items and services specified within the schedule of rates.
