Tender Description
The Albury Waste Management Centre (AWMC) is owned and operated by Albury City Council (ACC). It is the region's major waste disposal facility offering a range of recycling, resource recovery and waste management initiatives.
NSW EPA under the Circulate, NSW Industrial Ecology Program has provided funding to ACC to engage a contractor/s commencing 1st November 2021 until 30th June 2022. This funding project is in partnership with Federation Council. The project outcomes include the provision of receptacles at the AWMC and councils participating in the project for source separated plasterboard, establish a circular economy option for reprocessing, locally and regionally, the intent is to establish an ongoing collection and transportation option for the offsite processing of plasterboard material from Albury and Federation Councils and any nominated participating building sites.
