UC is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to undertake the Building 7 Bathroom Upgrade works. These works include demolition of existing bathrooms, supply and installation of new doors, partitions, toilets and associated services.
Buildings 7 and 7X at UC Campus was built in 1973 and 1975 respectively. The bathroom amenities areas in these buildings are base building and the functional design and technology trends are outdated. The layout and configuration of many of the existing bathroom facilities do not meet current requirements of the Building Code, including provisions for people with disabilities. The facilities also do not meet current day's expectations for a contemporary tertiary education facility. The existing hydraulic risers are inadequate and require an upgrade.
