Tender Description
The Territory is seeking expressions of interest (REOI) from suitably prequalified parties to demonstrate their organisational, financial,
technical capabilities and resources to design and construct a high level arterial road crossing of the Molonglo River at Coppins Crossing.
The Project will comprise approximately 1.7 kilometres of dual carriageway road approaches and a 227 metre long steel box girder
bridge over the river.
The Works will include, but not be limited to, the design and construction of four traffic lanes, on-road cycle lanes, separate share paths, two new signalised intersections, road and bridge lighting, stormwater management including three permanent retention ponds, tailored landscaping including rehabilitation in the Molonglo River Reserve and other associated works.
The Works will integrate with the Molonglo Group Centre and accommodate future light rail and pedestrian underpasses.
The Works will form part of a project that will be funded, in part, by a Commonwealth contribution.
