Kingborough Council is seeking quotations for the preparation of Creek Maintenance Plans for three of its urban creeks.
There are many urban creeks within Kingborough which form a fundamental part of Council's ability to provide effective stormwater services to the community. These creeks may be located on either private or public land or a combination of both.
Although these creeks are an integral part of the public stormwater system, they have historically not received the same level of maintenance as the constructed parts of the public stormwater system.
Unmaintained urban creeks degrade over time, with a reduced capacity to provide the expected stormwater services as well as increase the risk of damage to public and environmental assets within the creek system such as bridges, tracks, culverts, and cultural heritage sites.
The services will include site investigation, data collection and review, preparation of a template Creek Maintenance Plan and three detailed specific Maintenance Plans. Further details of Council's requirements and expectations are contained within the request for quotation documents.

Responses to questions raised by potential respondents will be posted on the forum and will be available to any person downloading the request for quotation documents.
Quotations must be submitted via the electronic tender box. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion. If a receipt is not received it is recommended that the Quotation is uploaded again.
