Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide courier services for Cairns Libraries, who require a dedicated courier service to transport library books, materials and other items between all Library branches and Council offices on a daily basis, from Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). The Courier (Supplier) allows Cairns Libraries to deliver customer-requested book and library items to nominated collection points within a designated time-frame, to ensure that customer service standards for Libraries are maintained for local communities. The Supplier is required to provide pallets, pallet wrap service and pallet storage for book sale items, as part of the Annual Book Sale. Trolleys and other relevant equipment, such as a forklift must be supplied by the Courier.
