Tender Description
Gunning Showground’s new Multipurpose Amenities Block to be completed in 2022
A new Sports Amenities Block is scheduled to be constructed at Endeavour Park in Gunning thanks largely to the NSW Government investment from the Stronger Country Communities Fund (SCCF3), totalling $672,747.
In addition to the SCCF3 funding, a further $37,400.00 has been funded by the NSW Showground Stimulus Funding and $50,000.00 from Upper Lachlan Shire Council.
The work will include demolishing the old, dilapidated toilet block and building a new amenities block to include home and away change rooms, PWD facilities, a canteen, storage and meeting room at the Gunning Showground (Endeavour Park) and will provide inclusive amenities for all abilities.
This facility will service the skate park, children's playground, community walk/cycleway, sporting field and showground facilities including camp-ground, dressage arena and rodeo area.
Request for quotes for a concept design for the project closed on 23 August and the concept design will go through a process of community consultation to be finalised by October 2021.
A Detail Design and Construct Tender will go out by the end of this year and construction is scheduled to commence by early next year.
