TasRail is currently seeking the services of experienced, qualified and competent Companies to tender for the fabrication and delivery of TFAF Log Wagon End Gates and associated mounting components.
Key Points of the Tender:
- The Scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- manufacture, testing and delivery of two Pilot End Gates for trials and evaluation.
- refinement of Pilot End Gates following evaluation.
- bulk manufacture and delivery of all remaining TFAF Log Wagon End Gates
- maintenance of jigging for ongoing manufacturer of addition units or spare parts.
- The Scope of Works documents also outlines the expectations and qualifications required of participating Contractors and describes the nature of works to be undertaken.
- Contractors must be able to provide and adhere to COVID-19 safe working practices.
- The successful Contractors must, where applicable, comply with the requirements of Rail Safety National Law (Tasmania) Act 2012, Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and other relevant regulations.
Tenderers are to demonstrate in their submission their support of Tasmanian Industry and business ,as required by the Tasmanian Governments Buy Local Policy and comply with TasRail Contractors Management System.
