Expressions of interest (EOI) are now being called to lease the Coolamon Swimming Pool for the 2021-2024 swimming seasons. Council’s Lease Agreement provides for the collection of gate receipts, the operation of the kiosk and the payment of a retainer at the end of the swimming season.

Council recently advertised this EOI with no submissions being received for the Coolamon Swimming Pool Facility – the securing of a Lessee is essential to ensure the operation of the pool for the upcoming season.

The successful applicant must have a Bronze Medallion or equivalent Certificate and a Resuscitation Certificate. The position will involve working with children and as a result the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protections Act 1998) is applicable. The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check. Council will arrange, at its own cost, for pool operating training for the successful applicant to be undertaken in October 2021.

Council requires that the EOI include the name, address, phone number, references/referees, relevant experience and a copy of certificates or levels of attainment.

The EOI must be addressed to the General Manager, Coolamon Shire Council, PO Box 101, Coolamon NSW 2701 by no later than 5.00pm on Friday 8th November 2021.
