The Public Transport Authority (PTA) has a requirement for the overhaul and call out support services for Voith transmissions, Scharfenberg couplers and Voith auxiliary components which are fitted to the trains used on PTA regional passenger services.

The Contract includes:

• Overhaul of transmissions, couplers, hydro-damp couplings and adapter plates;
• Call out support services for all Prospector and Australind transmissions (212bre and T311R), and couplers (Type 330 and Type 10); and
• Supply of various length cardan shafts, Kusel couplings, type 330 couplers, coupler shanks, and muff couplings.
