Tender Description
As part of the 2021-22 Annual Maintenance Plan, ARTC plans to undertake points machine upgrades in Port Waratah, one of which will require the build and installation of a new A3 location case in a new position. The works also include the removal of Signalling controls associated with the removal of 128 and 129 crossovers which will be completed under a separate contract.
In summary, the scope is as follows
Port Waratah A3 Location
1. Build and install new A3 location on new base as per approved design.
2. Decommission redundant location
Port Waratah 134 E/W, 135 and 101 Points Upgrade
1. Upgrade 134W point machine to M23A Mk3
2. Upgrade 134E point machine to M23A Mk3
3. Upgrade 135 point machine to M23A Mk3
4. Upgrade 101 point machine to M23A Mk3
Port Waratah B5 Location
1. Upgrade existing 50V Power supplies to Quint4 style Power Supplies
Port Waratah to Morandoo RR, B3, B4 and BX1 Locations
1. Remove points controls and indications associated with 128E/W and 129E/W
2. Remove 128 and 129 point conditions from affected signal routes
