PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (“the Department”) invites organisations prequalified with the Department for Roadworks and Bridgeworks who have demonstrated tunnel construction / maintenance experience and have the required State and/or Federal accreditation (“Tenderers”) to submit Tenders for the Heysen Tunnels Refit and Safety Upgrade Project. The scope for the refit and safety upgrade will consist of the construction / installation of the various civil, mechanical, fire, electrical, communications, and systems upgrades inside and outside the tunnels.
 
 
PREQUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS
Companies must be prequalified with the Department under the National Prequalifcation System for Roadworks and Bridgeworks in the following categories:
 
  • R5 (Roadworks)
  • F150+ (Financial)
