The principal is seeking Tenders from suitably experienced contractors to undertake drainage upgrade works along Swan Street, Guilford. To minimise impact on local residents, businesses and road users, the drainage is to be installed using a trenchless, microtunnelling method and open trenching method.

Briefing/Site Inspection:
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory. Tenderers are required to attend a briefing and site inspection at 10:00 AM AWST, Tuesday 31 August 2021. The location of the meeting is the corner of Swan Street and Hugh Street, Guilford. The briefing and site inspection will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties prior to the Tender deadline. Please confirm your attendance at this meeting via email to tenders@swan.wa.gov.au by no later that 4:00 PM AWST, Monday 30 August 2021. A register of attendees will be maintained for the briefing and site inspection. Tenderers must register under the business name that they intend to submit their offer under, in order for their Offer to be considered. Failure to attend this briefing and site inspection will render the Tenderer ineligible to respond.

The lowest price or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted. A Tender that is not lodged with the City before the Tender deadline will not be considered for evaluation. Tenders lodged by hardcopy, email or facsimile will not be accepted.

Canvassing of any City of Swan Councilors or Officers will disqualify Tenderers from the Tender process.
