EOI- Independent Audit and Risk Committee Members

⁠⁠⁠Murray River Council’s Audit & Risk Committee provides Council with independent oversight and monitoring of the Council’s audit processes, including internal control activities.

Council is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI), for an independent Chairperson and two (2) independent members from our community who are be interested in serving on the next term of the Committee. The positions will be appointed from 1 October 2021 for the term of the Council.

The successful candidates will have detailed knowledge and experience in the operations of a large organisation and an understanding of financial, management, reporting and governance practices. An inquiring mind and the ability to analyse information will assist in carrying out this role.
