You are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to provide Principal Design Consultant (PDC) services for the design of the approximate 4000 sqm CTEC building.
The CTEC venture is a multi-disciplinary facility including health, technology, tropical urbanism, tourism, arts, the environment, engineering, and agriculture and aims to grow JCU’s reach into teaching and learning with primary partners in Far North Queensland and the tropical population globally. The precinct and the CTEC project will be targeting a sustainability rating.
James Cook University (JCU) seeks proposals as follows:
- Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Principal Design Consultant for the design of the Cairns Tropical Enterprise Centre (CTEC) to be procured via shortlisting of EOI respondents and a subsequent competitive fixed price lump sum tender.
JCU is intending to have the CTEC facility early works package started by mid-2022 and the building practically complete by the end of 2023.
You are encouraged to review the uploaded Expression of Interest (EOI) Document and provide your submission addressing the criteria noted in section 4.8 of the EOI document.
