Supply and Delivery of Electronic Drives (Variable Speed Drives and Soft Starters)

⁠⁠⁠Hunter Water is pleased to invite you to submit a Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Electronic Drives (Variable Speed Drives and Soft Starters) & Associated Equipment as and when required by Hunter Water.

1. Background
The object of this contract is to provide Hunter Water with long term supply source(s) for all electronic drives (variable speed drives and soft starters) & associated equipment, which is reliable, highly responsive, well managed and controlled, delivered to Hunter Water nominated locations.

It is Hunter Water's preference to contract all the items tendered with a panel of suppliers. It is expected that the majority of our sites will be upgraded with one of two solutions, however Hunter Water retains the right to use additional manufacturers where desired to achieve the preferred technical solution.

Hunter Water is also looking for the contractor/s to provide replacement parts and services for the Variable Speed Drives units.

2. Duration of Contract
Three (3) years with the option to extend to four (4) or five (5) years, based on contractor performance.

3. Key Tender Details
The following information is provided as a guide to the key details of this Request for Tender, however these details must be read in conjunction with the Conditions of Tendering:

(a.) Closing Date and Time
Tenders close at 2pm on Wednesday 8 September 2021, and submissions must be fully received by this time.

(b.) Enquiries

(c.) Tender Briefing Session
An open pre-tender briefing session will not be held.

4. Tender Submission
Completed tenders must be submitted via the electronic tender box.

Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.

Late, incomplete, verbal, or faxed proposals will not be accepted.

5. Accessing the Tender Documentation
The Tender Document, accessed via Tender portal, contains embedded documents that are in the following formats:

• MS Word
• MS Excel
• Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to open these

It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to ensure they have appropriate programs and licences to access all of the tender documents.

6. Tender Document Format for Submission
Documents must be submitted in a separate PDF file for each Returnable Schedule with the exception of Schedule 13 Schedule of Rates which is required to be submitted in MS Excel

Attachments can either be incorporated into the individual PDF Schedule, or submitted as a separate Zip Folder as long as the attachments are clearly reference the schedule they relate to in the document title.

7. Probity
Hunter Water seeks to conduct its dealings (including this RFT process) with integrity. Any concerns regarding the probity of the process should be addressed in the first instance to Hunter Water's Contact Officer for this RFT.
