Woodville Gardens Civil Construction Stages 1 & 2

⁠⁠⁠The South Australian Housing Authority (“the Authority”) is seeking to secure a contractor to undertaken civil construction services for Woodville Gardens Stages 1 & 2 as part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Initiative (“the Program”).

The Program aims to replace ageing South Australian Housing Trust homes with new homes, creating better social housing, increasing choice and affordability whilst creating jobs.

The project is bound by Hanson Road to the west, Ridley Grove to the north, Humphries Terrace to the east and Eighth Avenue to the south.

The successful tenderer will be engaged to complete civil and service works as per the technical specifications as outlined in Part B of the tender documents and is expected to comply with the requirements of Council and other service authorities.

Stages 1 & 2 of the project are expected to commence in September 2021, with subsequent stages to be tendered in early 2022.

The successful tenderer will be engaged through an:

• Instrument of Agreement (refer to Part C)
• South Australian Housing Trust Standard Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Works (Civil, Landscaping and Minor Building).
• South Australian Housing Trust Special Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Works (Civil, Landscaping and Minor Building).

It is expected that the successful tenderer will be engaged to complete the civil works within a 12 month period (programme to be negotiated). A 6 month extension option is available for delays outside of the Contractor’s control.
