Gladstone PopCon 2021

⁠⁠⁠Gladstone Regional Council invites local artists and art businesses to put forward a proposal to provide a display, activation or activity for PopCon. The display, activation or activity should aim to increase community engagement, whilst adding an entertaining or innovative pop culture based element to PopCon.

Examples of displays may include (but are not limited to):

• Lego
• Collectables
• Pop Art
• Cosplay
• Anime
• Memorabilia (Pop Culture)

Examples of activations may include (but are not limited to):

• Artist in residence
• Roving performers or entertainers
• Static performers or entertainers
• Shows

Examples of activities may include (but are not limited to):

• Art workshops
• Craft workshops
• Face Painting
• Gaming
• Interactive digital workshops (VR, Greens Screen etc.)

The Request for Services from artists and businesses is flexible to the submitter’s ideas, capabilities and their capacity to deliver. Brand placement is negotiable upon request.

Please reference the requirements of the Request for Services below and outline the vision and scope of your Activation in writing by 9am Monday 13 September 2021.
