Goldenfields Water invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the design and construction of a new switch room and associated civil works.
Goldenfields Water is looking to replace existing high voltage assets at the Jugiong Water Treatment Plant that have reached end of life, with the above-mentioned works aimed at facilitating this replacement.
In brief the requirements of this tender include but is not limited to:
- Design and construction of new switch room, including building services (light, power, water, drainage and air conditioning)
- Supply and installation of a new communications tower
- Design and construction of numerous concrete pads for the future installation of HV equipment
- Supply and Installation of pits and conduits
- Design, supply and installation of storm water management infrastructure
- Design and construction of roads and
- Remediation of site once construction is complete
Note, the installation of the high voltage equipment will be undertaken by others, however, electrical building services (including air conditioning) and conduit work is included in this scope of work.
Goldenfields Water will hold a pre-tender meeting via ZOOM. The meeting will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday 25 August 2021. The meeting is COMPULSORY, and it will outline the work, contract requirements and answer any questions contractors have regarding the tender requirements.
Contractors must notify the Project Officer, Mr Adam King by email at adam.king@gwcc.nsw.gov.au by email by 2pm Friday 20 August 2021 if they are attending. A link to the ZOOM meeting will be sent to all contractors that have registered to attend. The link will be sent to the email used by the contractor to register.
