Tender Description

We are inviting tenders for the above-named Contract to construct, test and commission a new main wastewater pump station in Clyde to be located off the southern corner of the Dunstan Golf Club course, beside the Clutha River.

The works include responsibility for design by the Contractor or Nominated Subcontractors, in some cases on the basis of initial design work completed by the Principal.

The Contract Works include a Separable Portion, which is necessary because full commissioning and testing of the works are dependent upon completion of related but separate upstream and downstream contracts.

There may therefore be a time delay between completion of initial (dry and hydro static) tests and readiness for testing with wastewater, so the works are divided as follows:

1. Separable Portion 1: design, construction, installation, dry and hydro static tests,

2. Balance of Works: remaining (wastewater) testing, final commissioning, manuals and training, trial operation.
