Tender Description
Both Amby and Mungallala have ground reservoirs and reservoirs on steel towers. In the case of Amby the tower reservoirs are the primary reservoirs, providing storage and pressure for the town, with the ground reservoir as a backup supply. In Mungallala the tower is used to pressurise the iron treatment and the ground reservoir is the main supply, with booster pumps to provide pressure.
There are concerns about the structural condition of the towers and a Contractor is required to carry out a full structural inspection to determine the condition and remaining life of these towers.
Maranoa Regional Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a Lump Sum pricing and supporting documentation for carrying out this inspection.
