Local Buy has 52 Arrangements under five broad portfolios: Fleet, Civil Works, ICT, Consultancy, Corporate Equipment, Corporate Services and Industrial Commodities. 

Becoming a Local Buy supplier is a great way to sell more goods and services to local councils. Each year over $800m in spend goes through Local Buy’s Arrangements.

Our Arrangements open every 3 months on the 1st of the month; Feb; May; Aug; and Nov, to new suppliers or existing suppliers looking to be appointed to a new Arrangement or a new category within an Arrangement.

If you are an existing Local Buy supplier, you are NOT required to re-apply each time tenders open.

To become a Local Buy Pre-Qualified supplier, you need to be successful in responding to a Local Buy tender for an Arrangement. All Local Buy tendered arrangements meet the legislative requirements of the Local Government Act 2009 and Local Government Regulation 2012.
