Traffic Modeling and Options Report for Parkes Way/S‐W Corridors and Molonglo Valley Development

⁠⁠⁠Project Description

1. Infrastructure Delivery Partners, on behalf of the Transport Canberra City Services Directorate, seeks to engage a suitably qualified professional consultant to undertake a Traffic Modelling study for the project, entitled ‘Traffic Modelling and Options Report for Parkes Way/South West Corridors and Molonglo Valley Development’. This project will develop transport corridor upgrade concepts that provide short and medium term improvements and will help to achieve the long-term vision for the corridor including relieving traffic congestion and improving safety along:

• the Parkes Way corridor, from the Glenloch interchange to Kings Avenue and
• the South-West corridor, defined as the entire length of the Tuggeranong Parkway and Drakeford Drive.

2. Prospective Tenderers are welcome to download the Request for Tender document including the project brief through Tenders ACT. Tenderers are notified that background document relevant to the project is confidential in nature and will be released to Tenderers only upon the execution of the Deed of Confidentiality (DOC) issued with this RFT. This Deed of Confidentiality must be completed by suitably pre-qualified consultants and returned to TendersACT for the release of the confidential document.

Important Information to Tenderers

1. Due to the need to manage the release of confidential background documents associated with this RFT, tenderers are advised of the two tender boxes as follows:

• 38561-DOC-130 – this tender box includes: RFT, Project brief, all addenda (if issued during the tender period), and Deed of Confidentiality (DOC).
• 38561-RFT-130 – this tender box includes RFT, Project Brief, all addenda (if issued during the tender period) and confidential documents. This tender box should be used to upload tender submissions which will close at 2.00pm, 31 August 2021.

2. Tenderers must complete the DOC and submit to Tenders ACT to access the confidential background documents.
3. Tender box 38561-DOC-130 will remain open until 2.00pm 28 August 2021 to access publicly available tender documents.
4. Only Tenderers who have completed and returned the signed DOC will have access to all tender documents (including the confidential background documents) until the tender closing date which is 2.00pm on Tuesday, 31 August 2021.
