Campbelltown City is a designated strategic centre and is just 53kms from the Sydney CBD, covering an area of 312 km2.

The City is home to more than 160,000 people with the population expected to reach 270,000 by 2031, and is a significant centre for the Macarthur region, providing a broad range of services and facilities including a major hospital, university, two TAFE colleges, arts centre, public transport, large shopping centres and a growing commercial and industrial sector.

Council's principal service centre is located at the Civic Centre in Queen Street, Campbelltown.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Council requires an organisation to supply, manufacture, fit out and deliver a truck cab-chassis and body suitable for the use in asphalt road patching as detailed in the Specifications:

Council requires a body unit to carry a maximum of 3 tonne capacity which is capable of receiving and discharging a range of products including hot and cold asphalt, sands, soils, crushed rock, lime, 3-14mm aggregates and 10-14mm crushed base aggregates.

The Contractor must arrange for the registration of the vehicle to Campbelltown City Council's common expiry date of 1 July. Vehicles supplied in May or June will be registered until 1 July of the following calendar year.

Council seek the option to trade in

Council's existing minor patching truck. Digital images of the vehicle and Make/Model can be found within 'Attachment B' of the RFT information.
