Tender Description
The under 500K Construction Panel will cover a large volume of projects, up to $500k in value per project, delivered by the Ministry in the South Island from date of establishment. Accordingly, the target audience for the briefings will be contractors with experience, capability, and interest in this space.
The purpose of this Notice of Intent is to communicate to the market the Ministry’s intention to establish a new Construction Panel for the Southern Region (up to $500k), to determine the market appetite to participate in a tender process, provide details on indicative timeframes and procurement delivery model. The Ministry anticipates that the procurement delivery model will be based on a multistage approach (ROI + RFT), with the first stage focusing on identifying Respondents with capacity and capability in delivering similar Minor Works at a local/regional level. Second stage is anticipated to focus on specific information relating to the contract works delivery.
Interested respondents must provide their preference of session and mode of attendance in the registration form attached. Note that the content covered on all sessions will be the same. The Ministry will try to accommodate all registrations as best possible based on availability.
Future market engagement is separate from the procurement process, and participation is voluntary. If you are unable to participate in these sessions, this will not affect your eligibility to participate in the subsequent procurement processes.
