Rehabilitation of Gravity Sewerage Reticulation Mains

⁠⁠⁠This tender has been called to engage a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide structural rehabilitation for 11Km of gravity sewer mains (150mm, 225mm, 300mm) within the Tweed Shire using non-evasive technology.

The intent of the rehabilitation is to increase the useful life of the asset and increase its level of service. Council requires a quality product and installation to ensure the longest possible future life for the asset. Where practical mains have been selected in groups of mains beside one another but there is still a number of single lines.

Flow will be varying but as this tender is for reticulation mains it is expected that the majority of sites will be relined with bypass or flow control where Council will manage contributing sewer pump station flows to assist. Manholes depths, pipe materials, CCTV information, flow estimates and expected flow control information has been provided for each site (refer to site plans for details). It should be noted that Council does not typically require the lateral connection to be lined in any way.

The liner shall be robotically cut and cleaned at the junction. Refer to specification for more details. Council may choose specific junctions to be laterally sealed into the relined main.
