Flaxmere Development Sites

⁠⁠⁠Through this Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) Council seeks to identify suitable developers interested in delivering comprehensive mixed residential housing developments across three areas of Council owned land in the suburb of Flaxmere. By advancing the development of the Flaxmere Development Land, Council contributes to the Hastings Medium to Long-term Housing Strategy objectives by enabling quality and affordable homes to be built.

These housing developments are to comprise stable, healthy, sustainable home options including, affordable, medium density, senior, traditional and no more than 20% public housing.

The three sites that are the focus of this EOI are:

• 244 Flaxmere Avenue
• 72 Caernarvon Drive
• The Flaxmere Town Centre (land in Council ownership only)

collectively referred to in this EOI as the “Flaxmere Development Land”.

This REOI is the first phase of a dual-phase process for the selection of one or more developers for the Flaxmere Development Land.
