Tender Description
Port of Newcastle (PON) have a proposed warehouse and distribution centre development located at 70 Raven Street, Kooragang NSW 2304.
The proposed development consists of two (2) adjoining warehouse units, which are generally described as follows:
Warehouse Unit 1
- 425m2 of parking/loading area.
- 895m2 of open warehouse space.
- 196m2 of office space; to achieve 4-star Green Star rating.
- Bathroom amenities.
A landscaped parking area comprised of 19 parking spaces (1 disabled), plus 2 spaces for motorbike parking.
Warehouse Unit 2
- 418m2 of parking/loading area.
- 939m2 of open warehouse space.
- 98m2 of office space; to achieve 4-star Green Star rating.
- Bathroom amenities.
- A parking area comprised of 12 parking spaces (1 disabled), plus 2 spaces for motorbike parking.
EOI submissions are to be sought from relevant and capable construction contractors.

Site inspection: Not Applicable to EOI.
Submissions: Completed EOI submissions should be compiled as one complete PDF document and submitted via the Electronic Tender Box addressing the Submission Requirements outlined in the Request for EOI. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion. Should assistance be required please use the online manual on the portal.
Closing date and time: EOI period closes at 4PM on Monday 19 July 2021 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Port of Newcastle is not bound to accept the lowest priced EOI or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for EOI process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. All enquiries in relation to the proposal must be via the online Forum.
