Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Works will include the construction to the point of mechanical complete of 1 x 220kV substation, including;
• detailed earth works including: internal roads, site surfacing, drainage, conduits and underground earthing;
• all civil works as per the design;
• installation and testing of all of the substation’s infrastructure i.e.: 66KV switchgear, Aux and earthing transformers, standby generators and auxiliary systems;
• installation and testing of 220kV primary equipment, circuit breakers, disconnectors, transformers (VT / CT / Power);
• construction of external tie in roads;
• installation and testing of substation control and MV switch room building, and associated equipment; and
• supply and installation of all LV AC/DC power cabling, control cabling and cable support systems.
• Bulk earthworks are not part of this package.
Australian Standards apply to this package.
The Pilbara Transmission Project, including this package 540PTC0022 Construction of Substation, is subject to internal approvals. The contracting process and/or scope may change at Pilbara Energy Company Pty Ltd’s election, including to accommodate Project budget and schedule requirements.
