Lease / Licence of Gladstone Tennis Facility

⁠⁠⁠Kempsey Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from community groups; not-for-profit organisations; or tennis coaches to manage the Gladstone tennis facility in Gladstone, NSW.

The manager/management will collect and manage user fees; manage hiring of the facility; undertake day-to-day non-structural maintenance; pay a set annual rental/licence fee; and provide annual reporting to Council, including financial statements.

The arrangement is expected to take the form of either a lease (granting exclusive possession of the premises in return for payment of rent) or a license (granting a contractual right to occupy the premises in return for payment of a licence fee).

Council may also consider alternative proposals to a lease/license by parties who express interest in providing services to the Gladstone tennis facility that contribute to its successful management and operation.
