Tauranga City Council invites tenders for this contract for which the works comprise the construction of approximately 1,900m of DN355 PE100 PN16 wastewater trunk main and 360m of DN500, 1,000m of DN450 and 115m of DN180 PE100 PN16 water trunk mains from Taihoa Drive or Matakokiri Drive to Lakes Boulevard.
The works are constructed using a combination of trenchless and open cut methodologies and includes Kopurererua stream crossing and crossing beneath State Highway 36/Takitimu Drive (both in carrier ducts).
The alignment requires that the works are undertaken in a combination of two private properties and road reserve. The landowner requires the works to constructed within specific timeframes.
