Subject to material conditions precedent and final approvals, CSBP Ltd is exploring the expansion of its existing ammonia production facilities through the development of an adjoining ammonia plant at its Kwinana site (Project).

The Project duplicates CSBP Limited’s existing ammonia plant at the Kwinana site. The Project will consist of steam methane reforming, synthesis gas production and ammonia production units, with a focus on compatibility with emerging technologies.

The Project uses existing infrastructure and utilities and the finished product storage will be integrated with existing facilities on site.

Scope of Work:

Primary Reformer consist of Radiant section, Convection section and Exhaust gas Stack, Heat duty (transferred duty) of
the Radiant section is 42.62 MW, Convection section please refer attached process datasheet.

Radiant section consists of double chamber with vertical tubes placed in a single row along the centre line of the chamber. It is composed of Inlet distributors, Hairpins tubes, Catalyst tubes and outlet collectors. Material of Catalyst tube is 25Cr35NiNbTiR, Inlet manifold A335 Gr.P22, Hairpin tubes A312 Gr.TP321H, Outlet collector 20Cr32NiNb, Outlet Hairpin tube ASTM B 407, UNS NO8811 and Cold collector (refractory lined) A-387 Gr.11 Cl.2. Burners 192 nos. side wall mounted, self-aspirating type.
Refractory materials: Firebrick and ceramic fibre modules.
