Invitation to Submit Tender - Various Data Centre RCD Replacements, Gold Coast & Nathan campuses

You are invited to submit a Tender for the execution and completion of the works described below in accordance with the Drawings and Specification (if any) supplied herewith, the Griffith University Conditions of Tender & Conditions of Contract for ‘Minor Works’ herein, and any other information issued by the Principal for the purposes of tendering.

Description of Works: Various Data Centre RCD Replacements, Gold Coast & Nathan Campuses

To increase Occupational Health and Safety, suitable RCDs will be installed for circuits supplied to applicable equipment racks within the two data centres and the ancillary TERs

The data centres at the nominated campuses are to have the existing circuit breakers replaced with RCD's. The project will be a “Turn Key Project” i.e. this Electrical Contractor is to perform or arrange for any required works as a part of their contract.

The applicable equipment rack power circuits in N34 and G10 data centres

The two data centres and the ancillary TERs involved in this project are situated in building G10 (Gold Coast Campus) and building N34 (Nathan Campus).

These consist of the following locations:

• Gold Coast data centre

G10 1.07 “Main TER” (including TER in 1.06)
G10 1.10 “Old data hall”
G10 1.14 “New data hall”

• Nathan data centre

N34 2.52 “Main data hall”
N34 2.54 “Main TER”

• Mt Gravatt data centre

M10 1.17 – Note no works are required for this room - disregard any reference to this space in the issued documents.

• Attendance to Mandatory Site Inspections as follows:
• Nathan campus: Monday, 21 June 2021 at 11:00am – meeting at the Security desk / information kiosk, Arrival Plaza adjacent N13.
• Gold Coast campus: Tuesday, 22June 2021 at 10:00am – meeting at the Security desk / information kiosk adjacent G01.
• Inspection is limited to 2 person per company. Please confirm your attendance to the project manager by this Thursday, 17 June 2021.
