Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from enthusiastic, customer focussed operator(s) to operate and maintain the Rylstone Caravan Park (the Park) for a period of 12 months with the prospect of renewal for a longer term if Council is happy to continue after the initial period.

The Park is located within a short stroll from the main street of Rylstone, local shops and restaurants. It is also within a short drive to local nature reserves in the area such as Fern Tree Gully, Glen Davis, Dunn Swamp, Bylong and Capertee Valley.

Facilities include toilets, showers, office and laundry. There is no onsite residence.

The current Approval to Operate a Caravan Park & Camping Ground (Approval to Operate) is for up to 29 short term sites. There are 24 power outlets available for powered sites which is variable depending on individual camper requirements. There is a designated area for non-powered sites and is flexible depending on bookings.

The Park will be undergoing re-development during the term of the licence between July 2021 to June 2022, with construction of new amenities and demolition of the old, with an improved layout and expansion of Park boundaries and area.

The Park Licensee(s) will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Park in accordance with the conditions as set out in the Licence.

It is envisaged that the Licensee(s) will commence management/operations of the Park from July 2021.

Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI)

Interested parties should submit their EOI in writing, addressing the evaluation criteria outlined within the information pack and include a cover/introductory letter and current CV supported by two referees. This information is to be forwarded to:
